King Charles is allegedly not happy with Prince William‘s threats over Prince Harry‘s return. Reports suggest that Harry is all set to visit the United Kingdom in July along with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. It has been almost four years since they last visited the U.K. While Charles is looking forward to meeting with the Sussexes, reports suggest that William has a strong reaction toward his younger brother’s visit.
King Charles reportedly sees Prince William as ‘petulant,’ claims source
King Charles reportedly sees Prince William’s reaction toward Prince Harry’s return to the U.K. as “petulant.” The Sussexes are all set to visit Britain soon, and sources suggest that Charles has been eager to meet them and his grandchildren.
The rift between William and Harry is not unknown. The brothers were once inseparable and always stood out for each other. However, they have had a strained relationship for a few years. While Charles allegedly wants his sons to fix their broken relationship, sources say that William doesn’t want that at all.
Amid this, a report by Heat World suggests that Charles insists that the reunion is in everyone’s best interest. However, William is allegedly highly put off by the royal treatment that the Sussexes are thought to get once they reach Britain. Sources say that he has threatened to “boycott” family events at the Sandringham estate.
Meanwhile, the king reportedly feels that his threats are “petulant” and “ridiculous.” A source said, “All this talk that William is now threatening to boycott Sandringham is utterly ridiculous and over the top. In his view, he assumes it’s something that was said in the heat of the moment, and once the dust settles, William will hopefully calm down and start to see common sense.”
The source added that Charles is determined that things would be better when the brothers come face to face. He feels William and Harry can finally open their hearts and let bygones be bygones. The monarch is even “more than willing to sit in and act as a de facto mediator,” says the insider.
