Model Karlie Kloss addresses her differences with husband Joshua Kushner’s family. Despite being related to one of America’s most politically influential families, Kloss says she has never shied away from expressing her own views.
Karlie Kloss said she has learned to navigate differing political views within the Kushner family
The supermodel turned entrepreneur appeared on Bloomberg Originals, where she spoke about navigating political differences within her husband’s family. When asked about her husband’s brother, Jared Kushner, being married to Ivanka Trump, and how she manages those family dynamics. She responded, saying, “Well, I know who I am. I know the values that guide my life and the issues that I care about. So, you know, I haven’t lost sight of who I am, but also it’s, it’s my husband’s family.”
Speaking about her political views despite being related to the Trump family, Kloss said, “You know, I’m a Democrat,” adding that she has learned to navigate those family conversations while staying true to her beliefs.
When asked about how conversations go during family dinners, she said, “Since as long as I can remember, I’ve always been exposed to a lot of different political points of view, and I think that trained me for my life.”
According to OK Magazine, she also stressed the importance of respectful dialogue, saying, “I think it’s possible to have relationships with people who you politically don’t align. And I think this country has always been a place for dialogue. We have to be able to talk to each other.”
Karlie Kloss married Joshua Kushner in 2018, they have three children together, sons Levi Joseph and Elijah Jude, and daughter Rae Fl. Kloss’s public remarks have drawn attention to how she continues to embrace her political views despite having a family relationship with the Trump family.
