Prince William recently appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast. The episode was released on the same day as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s reported wedding. During the interview, the Kelce brothers recalled meeting the Prince of Wales at one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in 2024.
Prince William and Travis Kelce recall Taylor Swift meeting
Travis and Jason Kelce reflected on meeting Prince William and his children at one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in London in June 2024. “That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever, was meeting you and the little ones that day,” Travis said. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end continued, “Me and Jason joke about it all the time. We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family.”
Travis also shared that his older brother “has this running joke where he didn’t know what to do with his beer.” Jason hilariously admitted that the situation with his beer “wasn’t a joke.” The former NFL player added, “You want to be respectful and know what the protocols are.” He also described the meeting as “awesome” and called the Prince of Wales “fantastic.” Additionally, Jason called Princess Charlotte “the highlight” of the meeting. He explained, “I have four daughters,” and added that Charlotte “was great.” In response, William told him, “Congratulations on four daughters. I don’t know how you did that.”
Jason quipped, “Definitely a difficult task. The hardest job.” Meanwhile, according to reports, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, privately met Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ahead of their wedding. While the date of that meeting has not been confirmed, the singer and the football star were spotted together in London on May 7, 2026. Travis also appeared to reference that meeting during his conversation with William. “I got the chance to see you not too long ago and invited you on the show because we were talking a little Aston Villa soccer, some excitement about the World Cup,” the 36-year-old said.
