Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding invite appears to have been leaked. The couple tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. However, the pictures from the ceremony have mostly remained elusive. Amid this, one of the guests reportedly ended up revealing the top-secret wedding invitation.
Taylor Swift’s wedding invite sparks a debate online
Ashish Ferguson shared Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding invite in a now-deleted Instagram post. Ashish is the brother of Kumar Ferguson, the Kansas City Chiefs’ football tight end’s childhood friend and personal chef. “You’re invited. July 3rd, 2026 Manhattan. Love, Taylor & Travis. One night only. Early evening. Black tie,” the invite read. The invite had a forest and sea background with the custom monogram of a double “T”, the first letter of Swift and Kelce’s names. Moreover, the name of the guest was watermarked.
Page Six reported that the wedding venue, Madison Square Garden, was designed as “a garden inside the Garden.” Additionally, trees and large green furnishings were part of a “big gazebo.” Kelce also proposed to Swift for marriage in a forest-style background. While the post has been taken down, the invite became a major topic of discussion on the internet.
An X (formerly Twitter) fan page of the “Love Story” hitmaker posted the invite. They called it a “SMART” move as “each guest of Taylor Swift’s wedding had their wedding invitation watermark with their following name.”
Netizens shared their reactions, with one hilariously tweeting, “Security was tighter at this wedding than the Pentagon.” Another one wrote, “like you cant photoshop or use ai to eliminate watermarks…” A third user commented, “Clever move! Each invitation has a unique watermark with the guest’s name. No more mystery leaks. Well played Swifties team!”
Swift and Kelce’s wedding was confirmed by a spokesperson on Friday. They confirmed the ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler. The individual added, “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man.”
