Jennifer Lopez’s body-hugging Ralph Lauren dress highlights her curves at Wimbledon
Jennifer Lopez stepped out for the final day of Wimbledon in a Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2009 dress. The sleeveless dress featured a beautifully draped, wrap-style bodice that crossed over the neckline, creating soft ruching across her torso. The fitted bodice transitioned into a skirt that hugged her hips before hitting right above her ankles. It also appeared to have a wrap detail. Further, the fabric cascaded elegantly down one side into a fluid, asymmetrical panel that added movement to the skirt.
The “On the Floor” hitmaker paired the dress with an oversized Ralph Lauren Collection Hemp Blend Wide Brim Hat in a matching tan hue. The hat injected an old-Hollywood, high-society charm into the overall silhouette. The look was a departure from her bold and sparkly attire for her concerts.
The monochromatic theme continued through the rest of her styling. She was carrying a structured Ralph Lauren RL 888 Crossbody Bag with a top handle. The bag featured a woven fabric body trimmed with rich brown leather and a silver logo clasp. Further, for footwear, she opted for a pair of intricate Ralph Lauren Purple Label Leather Sandals. They featured a caged, woven T-strap design that matches the warm tan tones of her accessories.
Lopez elevated the look with high-end, classic diamond pieces. She was wearing a pair of 18K gold pavé-set cushion-shaped diamond clip earrings from David Webb. The David Webb platinum and 18K gold round diamond crossover bracelet on her wrist matched the sparkling earrings. She was sporting a dark-strapped watch on her other wrist.
