Expert warns Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to stay silent after King Charles reunion
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly been warned not to utter a word about King Charles’ reunion during their UK trip. According to The Express, the Sussexes’ meeting with the monarch and his spouse was kept secret. A royal expert, Renae Smith, told the outlet that the king and queen allegedly wanted the reunion kept under wraps. Furthermore, she advised the Sussex pair to keep it that way.
Smith warned Markle and Harry to “say absolutely nothing.” “Literally nothing. Don’t do interviews about it [or] hint about whether it was warm or awkward. Don’t reference private conversations on podcasts,” she added.
Moreover, she advised Harry and Markle not to lead the narrative. They should reportedly let Charles and Camilla handle it. Explaining her advice, the expert stated that “any goodwill generated by that meeting” would disappear. It would allegedly get worse for the second son and his wife if private family moments or conversations became public.
“Silence here would actually speak volumes. It would show restraint, maturity and perhaps a genuine desire to rebuild family relationships privately rather than publicly,” Smith shared.
Meanwhile, an earlier report claimed that Markle was disappointed with the backlash and drama the Sussexes received during their UK trip. According to a source, she has allegedly drawn a “red line” on future royal reunions.
