Sid Wilson was heading to a studio with a friend when TMZ caught up with him. The outlet also asked him about his departure from Slipknot.
The former Slipknot member appeared in public carrying a coffee cup and a set of keys as he went about his day. He completed his all-black look with black sunglasses, a black T-shirt, and matching black pants.
However, when reporters asked him about his departure from Slipknot, he avoided answering and simply looked down.
His friend was also with him and gave a slight smile after hearing the question. He jokingly replied, “We are late for church, man.”
Wilson has been part of Slipknot since 1999 and is one of the band’s nine classic members. The other members include Joey Jordison on drums and percussion, a founding member who died in 2021; Paul Gray on bass guitar and backing vocals, a founding member who died in 2010; Chris Fehn on custom percussion and backing vocals; James Root on guitar, who joined later; Craig Jones on samples, media, and keyboards; Shawn “Clown” Crahan on custom percussion and backing vocals, a founding member; Mick Thomson on lead guitar; and Corey Taylor on lead vocals.
