Madonna and Kylie Minogue have finally turned years of fan hopes into reality. The pair have announced their first official music collaboration after appearing on stage together on multiple occasions. They recently gave fans a special preview during a live performance in Amsterdam. The collaboration will officially arrive later this week.

Madonna and Minogue performed together during Madonna’s Club Confessions event presented by MISTR at AFAS Live in Amsterdam as part of WorldPride on Aug. 1. According to PEOPLE, the pair gave the live debut of their upcoming collaboration, “Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix).” They also did a duet rendition of Madonna’s song “Sorry. Later, both the stars posted pictures and videos from the event on Instagram.
Fans will not have to wait long to hear the full collaboration. The new version of “Love Sensation” will be available on Aug. 7 through Warner Records. The original version of the song is included on Madonna’s latest album, “Confessions II.” It also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s U.S. Dance Airplay chart.
Madonna and Minogue first teased a possible collaboration during an appearance on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show in June. They were silent at the time and did not disclose any information. The singers shared the stage for the first time in March 2024 when Madonna performed at her Celebration Tour in Los Angeles. They performed Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and an a cappella version of Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”
In the interview with PEOPLE in December 2025, Minogue recalled that show, calling it a “wonderful” experience. She said, “That was an incredible night and an incredible moment.” She also said many people had waited a long time for that moment and added, “I thought that was just perfect.” Although she said they had no collaboration plans at the time, she added, “But if it were to happen, that would be great,” making their new partnership even more meaningful.
