Police said an opened condom fell from Starr’s pocket during a pat-down after her arrest
According to an incident report from the Hapeville Police Department obtained by TMZ, officers responded to the Embassy Suites hotel after an employee reported that someone had sexually assaulted a minor. Before speaking with Starr, police met with the minor and the minor’s parents at the hotel. The investigation later resulted in Starr’s arrest on sodomy and child molestation charges, authorities said. At this stage, the charges remain allegations.
The police report says Starr told officers that a tall Black man approached her in the hotel lobby. Starr said the two had a brief conversation and that she asked his age. She reported that he claimed to be 18 years old. Starr said the person then accompanied her to her hotel room.
After speaking with Starr, police detained her and conducted a pat-down search. During the search, an opened condom fell from Starr’s clothing, according to the report. Officers said they found another condom in one of her pockets. The items are part of the evidence collected during the arrest.
According to police, the alleged victim was younger than 16 years old. Officers said Starr admitted to performing oral sex on the individual. Starr remains in custody as the case continues. Prosecutors will determine how the case proceeds through the legal system. Starr can challenge the charges in court.
