Wendy Osefo Says ‘RHOP’ Will Show Her ‘Lowest Points’ in Season 11

Dr. Wendy Osefo reflected on filming Season 11 of Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of Potomac while dealing with her ongoing legal troubles. At the premiere of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Wendy shared that the upcoming season will not shy away from the difficult chapters of her life and that viewers will see her living her truth.

Wendy Osefo says RHOP captures both the highs and lows of her life

While attending the premiere of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th in New York City on Aug. 4, the reality star told PEOPLE, “The beauty of Housewives is, you guys are able to see us at our highest points and, unfortunately, our lowest points,” she said. “This season I’m just living my truth, and you guys will get to see that,” Osefo added.

The 42-year-old award-winning researcher said, “Season 1 Wendy was finding herself, getting to know herself,” before continuing, “I think this season of Wendy, she knows who she is, and she knows who her people are, too.”

Season 11 began filming this spring, several months after Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested in Westminster, Maryland, on Oct. 9, 2025. At the time, authorities said the couple faced 16 charges, including seven felony counts tied to alleged “false/misleading info fraud” involving more than $300.

A day after their arrest, a spokesperson for the couple said they were “back home safely with their family and in good spirits.” Days later, Wendy addressed the situation publicly on Instagram.

The investigation also became part of the RHOP Season 10 reunion, where Wendy revealed it had been “a very trying time” for her family. She also described her experience in jail, saying it was “scary” because “You completely lose your autonomy.” Bravo also aired previously unseen footage filmed at the Osefos’ home shortly after the arrest.

Despite the challenges, Wendy believes her journey on the franchise has helped shape who she is today. Looking back on her debut during Season 5 in 2020, she reflected on how much she has grown.
