Rosie O’Donnell called out Jesse Watters after she claimed his Fox News crew approached her outside her New York City theater. The actress and comedian said she was not interested in talking to Watters or answering questions from his staff. O’Donnell shared her reaction in a TikTok video on Thursday, August 6. She also explained why she does not want contact with the Fox News host.

A Fox News crew waited outside her car while she was doing her Off-Broadway show Common Knowledge, O’Donnell said. She claimed the group shouted, “JESSE WATTERS WANTS TO TALK TO YOU” as they approached her.
She said in her TikTok caption that she wasn’t interested in talking to Watters or Fox News. “So what? – I have no desire to talk to him or Fox (we lie to Americans) “News” – so say what you need and go the f*** away,” she added.
O’Donnell currently stars in the one-woman show at the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York City. The limited run will end on Saturday, August 8. In the TikTok video, she stated she never saw Watters and is not interested in seeing him. She also criticized his past comments about women and his early career on The Bill O’Reilly Show.
“Jesse, you do what you do, stay out of my orbit,” O’Donnell said in her video. If Watters is looking for an interview, he should reach out to her publicist, she added. O’Donnell claims she’s not afraid of him, but is not interested in talking to him. She also referred to Watters’ earlier remarks on former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Before the 2024 election, Watters said on The Five that Harris would get “paralyzed in the Situation Room while the generals have their way with her.” He later clarified that people took his remarks the wrong way and that they were not sexual.
O’Donnell questioned why any woman would want to speak with him. She also continues to make headlines as she prepares to guest-host Jimmy Kimmel Live! and discusses a possible The View return.
