Jenna Ortega’s Plunging Givenchy Dress Couldn’t Be More See-Through

Jenna Ortega donned a plunging black Givenchy dress that was completely see-through. The “Wednesday” star recently sat down for an interview with Esquire and wore several different outfits for the accompanying photoshoot. The publication shared a few snaps on their official Instagram page on August 11.

Jenna Ortega turns up the heat in plunging Givenchy dress that is completely see-through for Esquire

Jenna Ortega has never been one to shy away from a bold look, whether it’s a red carpet appearance or a photoshoot. Her new one for Esquire remains no exception. She wore Look 38 from Givenchy’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection by Sarah Burton. The sheer black dress had a plunging V-neckline dropped deep past the torso. The revealing upper bodice balanced out the dramatic lower silhouette.

Adding structure to the semi-sheer fabric, the dress featured an exaggerated, architectural peplum skirt that flared outward into wide, rigid folds around the hem. This created a voluminous, bell-like structure that contrasted against the body-conscious fit of the torso. The piece featured floral and leafy lace motifs woven throughout transparent mesh. Further, the black sequin embroidery on the garment caught the light against the stark white background.

Styled by Alfonso Fernandez Navas, Ortega completed her look with a thick, ornate black choker necklace by Renato Cipullo, studded with crystal details. It anchored the plunging neckline and enhanced the dark, gothic-chic vibe. Her glam was simple to balance out the high-fashion drama of her outfit.

She wore her dark hair down in loose waves with curtain bangs framing her face naturally. Meanwhile, her makeup featured a bare skin look with visible freckles, natural brows, and glossy pink lips. Another photo captured her wearing a dress from the Meruert Tolegen Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection. The Victorian-inspired piece featured a lace-up front with peplum-style structures jutting out at each side of the hip. She layered it over a checked Marc Jacobs shirt.
