Perez Hilton’s attorney seeks ‘normalcy’ for his children after his mom files for custody
According to US, Hilton’s mother, Teresita Lavandeira, filed for temporary custody of his three children on August 7. Court documents state that Hilton “voluntarily consented” to the request while he was hospitalized.
Hilton’s attorney, Natalie Guerra-Valdes, addressed the situation in a statement, saying, “My main concern and objective, as well as the family’s, is to protect the children and make sure they are safe,” she said, adding, “We want them to have some sense of normalcy as they begin their journey of healing after the tragic events that occurred last week.”
The custody filing came days after Hilton was hospitalized following a disturbing TikTok livestream. The video showed him in distress and seemingly attempting self-harm. It sparked serious concerns among viewers and called for immediate intervention by the emergency services.
According to reports, authorities responded to his Miami home after the livestream circulated online. Hilton was later taken to the hospital for urgent medical treatment
