Future plans surrounding the late Princess Diana’s 30th death anniversary may reportedly put Meghan Markle’s loyalty to her husband, Prince Harry, to a very difficult test. The report came amid speculation about whether the Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke of Sussex during an alleged future trip to the UK to mark the important and quite emotional occasion.
The Sussex couple stepped down as working royals and left their royal lives in the UK behind to settle down in the US in 2020. Since then, the Duchess of Sussex has made a few visits to Britain. She recently reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside her husband and two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at Highgrove House.

Meghan Markle has allegedly been contemplating her future return to the UK with her husband, Prince Harry, to mark her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s 30th death anniversary. As reported by RadarOnline, a source said, “It is a hugely difficult decision for Meghan because there is no option without consequences.”
The person continued that the Duchess of Sussex “wants to support Harry during events that will be incredibly important and emotional for him.” The source then explained, “But returning also means exposing herself to enormous scrutiny.” The person also added, “And potentially walking straight back into unresolved family tensions.”
In the meantime, per the news outlet, another insider explained, “Diana’s anniversary makes everything particularly sensitive.” The person continued that Prince Harry “would naturally want his wife beside him.” The insider then said, “But if William and Catherine attend the same commemorations.” The person continued, “The focus could quickly shift from Diana to the divisions within the family.”
Meanwhile, another source said to the news outlet that “A major anniversary can sometimes create an opportunity for families to put differences aside.” The person explained, “But it can equally magnify everything that remains unresolved.” The source then claimed that Meghan Markle “would know that every gesture and interaction would be examined.”
The person continued, “Particularly if all four of them appeared at the same event,” while referring to the Duchess of Sussex, her husband, Prince Harry, and Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
