Cruz, 21, shared the photo on Instagram on Sunday. The post also featured photos of his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, and moments from their summer holiday. Fans quickly noticed the picture of Cruz, Brooklyn and Romeo as children. The sweet caption sparked talk about the ongoing family rift.
Brooklyn, 27, has remained distant from David and Victoria Beckham and his siblings for more than a year. He had previously claimed that his family was attempting to tarnish his marriage to his wife Nicola Peltz. Cruz also revealed in December that Brooklyn had blocked him and their parents on social media. “They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz wrote at the time.
The family feud reportedly began around Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. In August 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola took their vows again without his family. According to The Sun, the couple now celebrate that date as their anniversary. A source told the outlet that they do not look back fondly on their first wedding.
Brooklyn has also told his parents not to contact him directly. Instead, he asked them to communicate through his lawyers, according to the reference report. Cruz’s new post does not confirm that the brothers have reconciled. Still, his “Brothers” message gives fans a glimpse of happier family memories.
