Aaron Rodgers Seemingly Reopens Family Feud With Subtle Shot at Brother Jordan

Aaron Rodgers has raised new questions about his family reconciliation after revisiting how the rift became public. The NFL quarterback suggested that some relatives ignored his wish to keep their problems private. He never named Jordan Rodgers directly. Still, his reference to The Bachelorette made the target of the comment fairly easy to identify.

Aaron Rodgers hinted at lingering family tension without mentioning brother Jordan by name

Aaron discussed the reconciliation in an Aug. 3 interview with The Athletic. He said family matters had always been “off limits” for him, but added that “not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing.”

The comment appeared to point toward Jordan, who discussed their strained relationship during JoJo Fletcher’s 2016 season of The Bachelorette. During his hometown date, Jordan said he and Aaron did not have much of a relationship and claimed the NFL star had chosen to distance himself from the family.

Page Six noted that the episode also showed two empty chairs at a family dinner, reportedly intended for Aaron and his then-girlfriend Olivia Munn. Aaron later said in the Netflix documentary Aaron Rodgers: Enigma that producers never invited him. He criticized the televised setup and called the dating show “stupid.”

Aaron’s latest remarks came shortly after he shared family reunion photos with his parents and older brother Luke. Jordan and his wife, JoJo Fletcher, did not appear in the pictures, although both reportedly liked the Instagram post.

The images appeared to confirm that Aaron had reconnected with several relatives after nearly a decade of distance. He later credited his wife, Brittani, with helping him reopen the door to those relationships. Aaron has previously praised his private relationship with Brittani.

Aaron said the process took several years and described having his family back as “a real blessing.” However, his comment about relatives who did not protect the family’s privacy suggests that some old frustration remains.

Jordan and JoJo have built a life away from the dispute since meeting on The Bachelorette. The couple married in 2022 and later announced that they were expecting their first child.

Aaron has said he reconnected with “all” of his relatives, but he has not explained where things currently stand with Jordan. Until either brother addresses their relationship directly, the subtle shot leaves their reunion status open to interpretation.
