Kate Middleton’s Trust Issues With Meghan Markle Get an Unexpected Twist — Expert

An expert has weighed in on Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s strained relationship, suggesting the two could eventually reconcile for the “good of the firm.” The bombshell claims made by Markle and Prince Harry following “Megxit” deepened the rift between the Sussexes and the wider royal family.

However, with Harry and Meghan now having met with King Charles, marking a potential first step toward reconciliation, an expert believes Middleton’s long-standing trust issues with Meghan could take an unexpected turn.

Expert sees a possibility for Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to team up ‘for the good of the firm’

Royal expert Daisy McAndrew believes Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle could potentially put their differences aside for the sake of the monarchy. The expert joined host JJ Anisiobi for a recent interview with the Daily Mail, where they discussed the possibility of the two royals eventually rebuilding their relationship.

Speaking about Markle’s relationship with Middleton, Anisiobi asked whether there was any chance the pair could reconcile. He pointed out that Middleton has reasons to distrust Meghan, particularly after she “slated the royal family.” Anisiobi also recalled the Sussexes’ Oprah Winfrey interview, during which they made claims about racism within the royal family.

However, he noted that the couple later clarified that the claim had come from the press rather than directly from them. Given the history between the two couples, Anisiobi questioned whether the Princess of Wales could truly trust Markle again.

McAndrew responded that “trust is personal,” but suggested there could still be an arrangement for the “good of the firm.” She admitted that she does not know Middleton well enough to predict how she would handle the situation, adding that it was difficult to say whether the Princess of Wales would hold a grudge and never trust Meghan again or choose to let bygones be bygones and move forward.

Turning to Prince William, McAndrew claimed it is known that he holds grudges and has been unwilling to forgive his younger brother. However, she suggested that family ties could eventually change the situation. Since blood runs thicker than water, the expert believes there is still a possibility that William could move past what has been said and done and eventually reconcile with Harry.
