Yungblud refused to let a broken leg derail his tour after a dirt bike crash hit hours before his Sturgis show. The 29-year-old singer injured himself at South Dakota’s motorcycle rally, then took the stage anyway.
Dominic Harrison, known professionally as Yungblud, crashed two hours before his August 9 performance. Fan footage captured him riding before the concert. He warned the crowd that his stage antics would look different.

“I’m not gonna be able to hop around and f—ing shake my ass like I normally do,” Yungblud told in a Tiktok footage. He grabbed Jack Daniel’s whiskey, then joked to the crowd, “However, I’m gonna keep drinking this Jack.”
The rocker shared another update on Instagram on August 16. “Leg f—ed. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f—ing mad. See you next week. Let’s ride,” he wrote.
His post showed him using crutches with a compression wrap across his injured leg. A representative confirmed the broken leg.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally ran from August 7 to August 16. His South Dakota performance marked the final American date on his Idols World Tour.
His next stop included Portugal’s Vilar de Mouros Festival on August 18. He also planned to hit Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival on August 21.
The injury recalled another stubborn performance from 2018. Yungblud played Austin City Limits in a wheelchair after fracturing his ankle during a Houston concert.
He also pulled out of Canada’s Cowboys Music Festival on July 12. He needed time at home while working on himself.
“I’m taking this extremely seriously and facing head-on what’s going on for the good of the long term,” he said, according to Rolling Stone.
Yungblud continued promoting his 2025 album Idols and his One More Time EP with Aerosmith. It reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
