The Valley Season 3 wrapped up last week with an explosive reunion. But the drama wasn’t just on screen. After Part 3 aired on TV, it was removed from the Peacock and Hayu streaming platforms for several hours. This prompted unhappy Bravo viewers to take to social media.
“Every episode is available except for the last one,” one person wrote on a Reddit thread dedicated to the missing episode. “It was there this morning, and then an hour later I went to watch it, and it had gone!” someone else said. Elsewhere in the thread, another viewer suggested something fishy might have gone down. “Who has the tea on [why] they removed [it]?” they wrote. “Cause clearly something aired and wasn’t supposed to, so they tried to repair the damage.”
Now it seems the answer to that question has been answered. Once the show was reuploaded to its respective streaming sites, fans noticed something strange: the version that aired on TV was different to the one they were watching.
What fans noticed about The Valley reunion episode before it was removed
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan of The Valley shared a side-by-side comparison of what aired on TV and what was uploaded to stream from the final reunion episode. In the televised version, Danny Booko appears to deny that he drank alcohol at Jasmine Goode’s wedding. However, in the version now available to stream on Peacock and Hayu, he admits that he did consume alcohol.
“Bravo editors caught changing Danny Booko’s response to drinking at Jasmine’s wedding,” the viewer wrote in their post. “Fans noticed and it was temporarily taken down on streaming.”
“So Bravo showed him lying about drinking at the wedding on live TV and then uploaded a version where he told the truth that he was drinking and then removed it and then reposted it,” they added in a follow-up post. But, which of the responses was the real one?
The discrepancy between the two clips has sparked speculation on social media about whether the scene was re-edited, particularly given that Danny’s drinking was a major storyline throughout The Valley Season 3. His relationship with alcohol was also a major talking point across all three episodes of the reunion. And Andy Cohen directly questioned him about it, too.
“That’s probably why I couldn’t watch it on Hayu until today,” wrote @BEN_D. Elsewhere on X, some viewers had more opinionated points to make. “The irony of Bravo being dishonest in its attempt to make Danny look dishonest,” said @Anteater1900. “They are really trying to take down Danny and Nia,” added @keina43365308, while others suggested the Bookos should sue.
You can stream all episodes of The Valley on Peacock.
