Marcellus Wiley has asked a judge to keep the sexual assault allegations against him separate from the restraining order filed by his estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley. The former NFL defensive end is facing a series of civil lawsuits in New York. The lawsuits accuse him of sexual assault and rape, with allegations dating back to the 1990s and 2000s.

According to TMZ, Marcellus wants his New York civil lawsuits kept out of his upcoming restraining order case, scheduled for August 31. His attorneys say seven accusers are involved in the New York cases. They describe the allegations as separate incidents and also note that the claims remain unproven in court. As per them, Annemarie may use the pending New York litigation and believes that one of her proposed exhibits is an article detailing additional allegations against him.
On July 6, Annemarie filed for divorce from Marcellus Wiley and sought a domestic violence restraining order. The RHOBH alum also asked for sole custody of their three children. She is seeking child and spousal support. She wants exclusive use of their Los Angeles residence as well. Annemarie is also asking Marcellus to cover more than $200,000 in attorney fees.
Marcellus was earlier arrested on a domestic battery charge in Orange County, Florida, on July 4, after Annemarie claimed that he became violent and threatened to kill her in their hotel room, as reported by TMZ. She alleged that Marcellus assaulted her on multiple occasions. In one incident, she claimed he threw a bottle at her head while she was nine months pregnant. She also alleged that he raped her in 2012, and in 2014, he punched her in the face.
Jail records show that he was released from Orange County Jail on July 5 after posting a $1,000 bond. The court issued a no-contact order barring him from being within 500 feet of Annemarie, who got married to the NFL star in 2014. On August 10, prosecutors dropped the domestic battery case against Marcellus.
