Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, is opening up about how their relationship has grown beyond just the two of them.
Curtis said he has been welcomed into the actress’ close circle of longtime friends, a group he described as being more like family. He also gave a rare update on how things are going between him and Aniston.
Jim Curtis shared what it is like being welcomed into Jennifer Aniston’s Hollywood circle
During the August 31 episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Curtis spoke warmly about the people surrounding Aniston.
“I feel incredibly blessed to be part [of] and welcomed into that family,” he said.
The Jennifer Aniston boyfriend described her friends as a “group of best friends that are like family.” He also praised the way they treated him after he entered Aniston’s life.
“It really speaks to her — and them — that everybody is so grounded, so kind,” Curtis said. “And it’s not just to me.”
Curtis has already spent time with several members of Aniston’s inner circle. He joined her on a yacht trip in Mallorca last summer alongside Jason Bateman, Amanda Anka and Courteney Cox. Weeks later, he and Aniston were seen with Bateman and Anka again in New York City.
More recently, the couple stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles with Cox, Bateman, Anka and Lisa Kudrow.
Curtis also offered an update on the Jennifer Aniston relationship, saying things are “going really well.”
“My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving,” he said. “I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving.”
The couple later made their first public event appearance together in November at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood celebration.
Adam Sandler, another longtime friend of Aniston, publicly supported the relationship during the event. He said he and his wife, Jackie Sandler, were happy Aniston and Curtis had found each other.
Aniston herself has kept details about Jennifer Aniston dating relatively private. However, she previously described Curtis as “quite extraordinary” and praised his work as a hypnotherapist.
For Curtis, becoming part of Aniston’s life has also meant becoming part of the close-knit group around her.
