An insider told Closer Online that Markle is trying to return to acting and wants to land prestigious projects. Markle has openly spoken about her love for acting. This time, she is seemingly looking to land a major role, not just because of her passion for the profession, but also as a way to get back into the royal fold.
Harry and Markle attended a secret summit with King Charles and Queen Camilla in July. However, despite the meeting, they reportedly still have a long way to go to repair their fractured relationship.
Prince William, meanwhile, is reportedly adamant about not mending things with his younger brother. Hence, Markle is reportedly hoping to use her acting comeback to win the royal family over.
Harry mentioned William and Kate Middleton’s love for “Suits” in his memoir, “Spare.” He wrote that William and Middleton were a little “starstruck” when they learned that Harry was dating Markle, who was one of the stars of the hit series.
Harry wrote, “I was baffled until Willy and Kate explained they were regular – nay, religious – viewers of Suits.” With this in mind, Markle reportedly feels that winning “proper awards,” such as an Oscar, and landing the right project could help her charm her in-laws again.
The insider added, “She’s convinced it will be a great way to score brownie points with the royals as well because they do love their movie stars.”
