Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have returned to Britain, but they are yet to establish this foothold there. Considering the wide rift between them and Harry’s family and friends, it will take time to regain that trust. A source told Heat World that there could be tensions between Harry and Meghan. Allegedly, the former wants his wife to focus less on her work and more on settling down in the UK with their family.
“Harry’s promised to do that, but he also wants to see Meghan make a big effort when she’s in the UK – especially with his friends and family. The last thing he needs is for her to be hiding away or glued to her work 24/7 instead of embracing this new environment in a positive and proactive fashion,” the insider said.
“He understands that she’ll want to make occasional trips back to the States, but that can’t become a habit – she needs to throw herself into this and help them revert to the same couple they were when they fell in love all those years ago. Unless that happens, it’ll be an uphill struggle, and deep down they both know that, whether they admit it or not.”
A source also told the outlet that Markle wants to remain Prince Harry’s topmost priority despite their new busy schedules. The insider added that the couple has reportedly agreed to have “scheduled date nights” to reconnect. Further, the former actress has allegedly also demanded that Harry and her kids go with her if she has to shoot something on location or travel for new projects.
