Prince Harry Urged To Address the ‘Pain’ He Caused to the UK Amid Return

Critics are urging Prince Harry to acknowledge the hurt caused to the UK after his publicized royal exit. This comes as he and Meghan Markle made their return to Britain after six years of living in California. Royal commentators are now saying that Harry should own up to how his interviews, memoir Spare, and Netflix series hurt the royal family and the country.

UK politician makes a demand to Prince Harry amid his return to the country

Prince Harry has come under fire from a commentator who claimed that he and Meghan Markle inflicted “pain and suffering” on the UK. The pair, who recently moved back to Britain, are now reportedly based in the Cotswolds.

According to the Daily Express, the unexpected move has faced heavy criticism, with observers casting doubt over why they chose to return. Reform UK politician Darren Grimes claimed that the Duke of Sussex has returned to Britain in defeat after things didn’t work out.

Grimes recently joined Australian host Danica De Giorgio on her show as a guest. During the interview, he launched into a tirade about the Sussexes’ UK return, despite their past critical remarks. “Spare me,” Grimes said while taking aim at the couple.

He went on to say, “I hope that they’ll have a modicum of respect and acknowledgement for the pain, hurt and suffering that they inflicted on our nation, not just our Royal Family, but actually on the wider country that gave a lot of love, support and time for this pair when they were married in this country.”

Directing further his criticism at King Charles’ youngest son, Grimes suggested that the prince constantly portrays himself as a victim. “He has to be one of life’s victims. I’m sick of it,” bashed the political figure. He then went on to describe Harry as a “Prince who’s had to come back to Blighty with his tail between his legs because things haven’t worked out in Montecito”.

Also on TalkTV, former royal staffer Dai Davies blasted Prince Harry’s demand for UK security, telling host Duncan Barks the request is completely unjustified for someone who quit royal duties.
