Convicted Sex Offender and The Challenge Star Stephen Bear Released From Prison Early

Stephen Bear must have learned how to behave while behind bars, because the convicted sex offender, and former star of The Challenge, has been released from prison early. In March 2023, Stephen was jailed for disclosing private, sexual pictures and videos of his former girlfriend, Love Island’s Georgia Harrison.

He was sentenced to 21 months imprisonment, but was released on January 17, 2024, just two days after his 34th birthday, and after serving just half of his sentence. Stephen was greeted by his dog and a “happy birthday” banner when he arrived home to his parents. They must be so proud.

The scumbag reality TV star was deemed “unrecognizable” by some of the British press. Weird, because he still looks like the convicted sex offender, Stephen Bear, to me. Just one who learned how to grow a beard, and had someone doing his hair while behind bars.

What does Stephen Bear’s early release say?

Many took to social media to share their thoughts on Stephen’s early release. A user on X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed to this as “more evidence that survivors aren’t seen as equal or deserving of justice by the authorities.” Another added that any “mainstream radio, TV, or podcast” that has “this dipshit on” would be “complicit” in his crimes. Both make great points.

The survivor in this case, Georgia, is currently starring in Love Island All Stars. As she’s taking part in the show and filming in South Africa, it’s unlikely we’ll hear comment from her. At least not until filming wraps.

Hopefully, there will be a mountain of support surrounding Georgia when she does learn the news. She was brave to ensure Stephen was convicted, so to see him out early will probably feel like a slap in the face.

TELL US – SHOULD CONVICTED SEX OFFENDERS BE RELEASED FROM PRISON EARLY IF THEY’RE WELL BEHAVED BEHIND BARS? OR SHOULD FULL SENTENCES ALWAYS BE SERVED?
