Finally, some happy news from the Sister Wives family! Earlier this week, Aspyn Brown revealed that she and her husband, Mitch Thompson, are expecting.
Aspyn, of course, is the daughter of Kody Brown and his ex-wife Christine Brown.
In June 2018, Aspyn and Mitch tied the knot during Sister Wives Season 13. This will be their first child, though they haven’t yet disclosed when their baby is due.

On Salt Lake City’s Fox13 News, Aspyn promoted Mother’s Day gift ideas, while showing off her baby bump. Aspyn is the manager at City Creek Center’s Kendra Scott store in SLC. The news anchor remarked how “fitting” it was that Aspyn was suggesting gifts for mom while expecting her first baby.
Just days prior, Kody shared in Sister Wives that he had reconnected with some of his adult daughters in Utah. “Aspyn and I had this long discussion,” Kody said in Episode 21. “She said, ‘Dad, what is wrong? What did I do? Why don’t you like me, dad?’”
Though Kody assured her he loved her and always would, he just couldn’t resist making a dig at Christine. He said he wanted “a relationship not filtered through my view of her mother or her mother’s view of me.”
“I explained [that] there’s this place of pain, that I didn’t feel welcome to reach out to everybody,” Kody said. “What has happened in my life has made me feel unwelcome.”
Though Kody told his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown, that the conversation “improved” his and Aspyn’s relationship, there was no mention of any pregnancy. That’s probably because episodes are filmed months before they air, so she may not even been expecting at that time.
While this will be Mitch and Aspyn’s first baby, it will be the eighth grandchild for the Brown family.
