Every year, Summer House gains a new face or two. But no one expected a character like Imrul Hassan. The man is an enigma, to say the least. He hasn’t been on every episode, but when he is, viewers know because he is usually trying to sneak a woman into his bed. However, it looks like Imrul might have had a hard time making friends, which left him on the outs.
Jesse Solomon shades Imrul Hassan
Jesse Solomon has not had the best summer. For his second season on the series, he came in acting like a fraternity brother and really gave a lot of fans the ick. But even when the spotlight has been turned on him for his treatment of Lexi Wood, the singer was prepared to point the finger at someone else. As fans are aware, Jesse made the poor decision to walk in on Imrul’s threesome and have his toe sucked. He then lied about the sexual act on the model. In a recent interview with The Blast, Jesse hints that he and Imrul have not been on good terms.
According to Jesse, they are not “best friends,” with the newbie, noting, “We spent some time together, but not a ton.” Jesse added, “We did beef a little bit,” sharing that he will see them come head-to-head at the reunion. According to Jesse “Imrul admitted that he dared me to get my toe sucked. Nothing else happened. So, those are all facts.”
Imrul Hassan made enemies with Summer House ladies
Jesse, being Jesse, dropped a few breadcrumbs, which seemed to insinuate that Imrul had trouble forming a connection to the Summer House cast. He shared, “I’m not going to say what he did was right or wrong, but when I came to the house, I just wanted to become friends with everyone,” said Jesse. “That was my main focus. I wasn’t trying to really date anybody in the house or out of the house. I was just kinda like, let me get to know these people.”
It hasn’t helped Imrul that the women of Summer House also didn’t like him. Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo made it known that they were not impressed by his Playboy behavior. Jesse revealed, “I think the girls’ issue with Imrul is he was like, ‘I wanna have a relationship with you guys,’ but then his actions were different than the words coming out of his mouth.” Jesse added. “At that point in the summer, like he and I were beefing a little bit, so I wasn’t super upset to see the girls go after him.”
Imrul Hassan’s first reunion didn’t go well
The Summer House reunion was only filmed a week ago, but everything was left on the couch. Jesse shared that he is “at peace with what happened.” Jesse noted, “I feel like I took accountability for anything that I did that was messed up,” he said. “[I’m] trying to learn from it and be better.” But Imrul didn’t seem to have the same experience. In fact, many Summer House viewers were quick to notice that he had been left out of an all-guys dinner with Andy Cohen after filming.
One Bravo follower reached out to Imrul to ask about his absence from the group. According to the newbie, he did attend the reunion, but it didn’t go as planned. He explained that the reason he did not attend the dinner was due to timing. He shared, “I left early, a few hours before they wrapped, so that’s part of it. I mean, I dunno. I’m gonna chalk it up to that and move on. It’s all good.” According to the messages, Imrul’s goal for his time on the show was to bring awareness to a school he was building. He added, “I’m so glad I did it and got some publicity and a platform for my English school, that was always my big goal in all of this.” At the end of the day, Imrul’s character might have just been too much for the Montauk group.
