It’s time for the brick and mortar opening for Soft Bar this summer. Carl Radke’s non-alcoholic cafe became a focal point of his story line on Summer House. And in real time, fans are anticipating an opening of the Brooklyn location in Summer 2025.
On Summer House Season 9, Carl did a soft launch with the cast. At the event, he unveiled the Soft Bar sprinter van and shared the cafe offerings with his costars. But Carl is still hard at work opening the physical location. And he shared an update with followers on social media last week.
Carl Radke took to Instagram to share updates on the non-alcoholic Soft Bar + Cafe
Carl shared updates of the renovations at Soft Bar in a post to his Instagram Story on Thursday May 22. In the video, a construction crew can be seen hard at work replacing the previously installed garage door. The reality TV star is opting for glass panels to make the space more inviting.
“All right, the garage door is down,” he explained. “This is going to be a glass at some point here soon, but making some progress. Slowly but surely.”
Carl confirmed that construction is on schedule and the bar will open “this summer.” However, the entrepreneur did not share an exact date. He did tease, “Can’t wait to show you guys.”
The following day, Carl posted photographic evidence of his own involvement with the renovations. He even got on a boom lift to paint the exterior brick wall.
But it’s not just construction that needs attention. Carl is still actively sourcing the best materials and ideas for his non-alcoholic bar. He visited Athletic Brewing in Milford, Connecticut recently and shared highlights on social media. The company won accolades for their non-alcoholic craft beer.
“Doing a little tour. Behind the scenes of one of the best non-alcoholic beers in the business… Thank you, Athletic team. It’s really cool,” Carl shared
Carl took the idea to open such an establishment as a personal mission to expand sober living. He himself has abstained from alcohol for four years. The Bravolebrity also tragically lost his brother, Curtis, to addiction in 2020.
Catch Summer House Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
