Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami kicked off in spectacular fashion. My cup runneth over with drama, including the beginning of a fiery feud between Julia Lemigova and Guerdy Abraira. Somehow, Guerdy found herself on the outs with Julia without understanding why.
Guerdy and Julia’s friendship seemed done in the Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 premiere
During the Season 7 RHOM premiere, Julia revealed that she arranged a Zoom call to share with the ladies that she and her wife, Martina Navratilova, were adopting two little boys. However, Guerdy’s call dropped. According to Julia, when Guerdy reached out to find out if there was another link, she was busy. Plus, the news had already spread. So, when Julia received a message from Guerdy saying “Congrats,” she felt it was “cold.”
So, Guerdy is sharing her side of the drama. She posted a copy of her text exchange with Julia via Instagram. After being unable to access the Zoom call, Guerdy had to go into a meeting. Then she texted Julia, “Hi. Are u sending a new link? Never worked when I tried it 3 times.”
Julia responded, “Hi! Sorry, my friend, I don’t know what went wrong. Sorry you couldn’t get in. I had something amazing to tell you guys at the same time … now it’s out and have been publicly announced.” She added her wishes that Guerdy have a speedy recovery following her surgery.
Then Guerdy texted, “Oh, ok, so I guess I’ll look online for this announcement?!? K.” Julia replied that her “hands are literally full right now” and that Guerdy would understand when she read it. The high-end party planner wrote over the text thread, “Mind you, she never told me the news by text or by phone, so she literally made me FETCH the information and after googling it, I still said CONGRATS!!!”
Right now, neither Guerdy nor Adriana de Moura is speaking to Julia. Season 7 of RHOM is going to be messy amid these shifting dynamics!
