Indeed, childbirth and delivery can take a real toll on women and their bodies. For Lauren, who worked for Shed Media, the toll was tragically too much.
Shed Media released an announcement on June 12 about Lauren’s passing. A GoFundMe page has been created by her co-workers and friends to help raise funds for her family.
After he was born, Jackson, was placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. According to PEOPLE, he has since been discharged and sent home with his dad Kevin and sister Emma. According to the GoFundMe page, Jackson is doing well and is a “angel who has eaten and slept like a champ.”
The update also shared that a charity working with families after maternal loss has offered the family baby formula and diapers and is looking to connect Kevin to support groups as he navigates this tragic loss.
Kevin shared, “Lauren is the love my life and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of every day. Please pray for our family and thank you for all the prayers, kind words and thoughts.”
Several Housewives also commented on the announcement. Salt Lake City star Heather Gay a broken heart emoji and New York City star Sai de Silva sent crying emojis. Orange County’s Tamra Judge wrote, “Prayers for her family and friends. This is absolutely heartbreaking.”
Childbirth can be very difficult for mothers. RHOC veteran Jenna Keuogh’s daughter Kara Keough lost her son during a complicated delivery and Hailey Bieber experienced severe bleeding during childbirth. It’s essential for mothers to have ample support during pregnancy and childbirth.
