It’s almost time for one of summer’s most chaotic, guilty pleasures to arrive. Season 27 of Big Brother will premiere on July 10. While we don’t know a ton about this season, we do know that the theme revolves around suspense and mystery. Longtime host Julie Chen Moonves will once again be hosting as the contestants check into the Hotel Mystère.
While we don’t know exactly who is staying in the hotel, Julie is spilling some tea about a special houseguest. How intriguing! Let’s find out what else she had to say about this mysterious character.
Big Brother mystery houseguest teased by Julie Chen Moonves
With Season 27’s theme, the mystery houseguest could be anyone. “What I can say is the mystery houseguest, when I was told who this person is, I had to expect the unexpected!” Julie told Entertainment Weekly. “I never expected that person. And I was very excited because, in my opinion, getting that person is epic.”
She added, “And that person is also very polarizing. So there’s going to be a strong reaction in both directions for this mystery houseguest.” Could it be a former player, or a controversial political mover and shaker?
“The accomplice this person’s going to have – they’re going to have responsibilities, and they may or may not be able to pull it off, and that will affect the game. And the masked visitor – very disruptive, and on another level that is more far-reaching than Ainsley last year.” As you may recall, Ainsley stood for “Artificial Intelligence Network Self-Learning Entity,” and she ran the game.
Julie continued, “Ainsley could do only so much, but this masked visitor is going to wreak havoc in ways that we’ve never seen before. And I would say on a deeper level.” The host added, “It’s more three-dimensional.”
It sounds like this season is going to keep viewers on the edge of their seats!
