Jax Taylor has been in the hot seat for quite some time. Thanks to Season 2 of The Valley, even more situations between him and ex Brittany Cartwright have been exposed. From the final straw before his rehab to spying on her, even Jax admitted that this season was going to be a bad portrayal of him.
Throughout it all, the only person in the cast who is trying to stay by his side is Jesse Lally. A co-star who also happens to be going through a separation, has been one of the few friends Jax has in his corner. He even was his personal chauffeur home after exiting rehab. The point is, Jesse has stood by Jax through thick and thin. But now that some time has passed since filming and headline drama has ensured, he is waking up and smelling the roses … kind of.
Jesse Lally says The Valley villain Jax Taylor is “proud” of his rehab stint
Jesse was a recent guest on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show. It was during the segment that he spoke up about Jax and applauded his efforts to be a better man.
“I know he’s very proud of his sobriety. I know he’s trying, I don’t know if he’s there, but I know he wants to be there and I don’t know if he’s just telling me that because I’m his friend,” he vented in the July 8 episode.
That being said, he does recognize the unforgettable strain his bestie caused on Brittany. Jesse even agreed that some of what went on between the former couple was abusive.
“We’ve all given him a million chances and I’ve been in that seat before with Jax and you know, I hope the best. I hope the best for the both of them.”
So it seems like for better or for worse, Jesse is standing by Jax. Or, at least, not fully kicking him to the curb like every other cast member.
The Valley airs at 8/7c each Tuesday on Bravo. It’s also available to stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
