Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is right around the corner, and once again, the ladies are charting new territory. For the first time in Housewives’ history, we’re going to see a crossover with Below Deck Down Under. It sounds like a fabulous treat for both the cast and the fans, but according to Meredith Marks, it wasn’t all diamonds and rosé.

We got a sneak peek of the Below Deck crossover during the RHOSLC Season 6 trailer. Our favorite Utahns are taking on the deep blue sea along with Captain Jason Chambers and Chef Ben Robinson.
Although this is technically a crossover with Below Deck Down Under, we’ll see this play out during the RHOSLC cast trip to Greece. We know that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Either way, Meredith dished about the experience during a chat with Us Weekly.
“It was fun. It was a little bit different for us because it was different from what we are used to,” Meredith said.
Although Meredith had fun, she said the biggest challenge was the fact that the cameras were always rolling. It sounds like RHOSLC producers leaned into the Below Deck format, so there were cameras positioned throughout the boat that were constantly capturing footage. Meredith wasn’t used to all that.
“It is a very different animal. I can’t say I love that part of it,” Meredith admitted. “But it was a fabulous trip and the whole crossover thing was cool to do.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns to Bravo on Tuesday, September 16 at 8/7c. Stream it the next day on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
