Queen Camilla Reveals Surprising Nuisance at Sandringham Home With King Charles

Even a castle can succumb to pests. And Queen Camilla revealed that she and King Charles have been dealing with pestilence at Sandringham Home. The queen revealed the issue to a fellow patron at the Ebor Festival during a solo appearance. And news of how Britain’s highest ranking royals can have the same issues as the common people hit the news circuit.

Sandringham Home is one of many royal estates owned by King Charles. Located in Norfolk, it’s where the royal family gathers to spend Christmas together. Hopefully, the unwelcome visitors will be gone by then. Meanwhile, a creature of questionable stature has allegedly been lurking around the King’s estate at Highgrove House.

According to Hello!, a wasp infestation has made a “terrible” nuisance for King Charles and Queen Camilla. The queen shared the tidbit as she opened the track’s new complex at the Ebor Festival. Camilla was the Patron of the York Racecourse at the equestrian event.

The Sun reported the problem extends across the entire estate. And that warning signs have been erected. The signs state, “Please be aware that wasp activity is currently high in this area.”

“King Charles is known for his love of the environment but everyone is aware too many wasps could be a problem for visitors,” an insider told The Sun. “Wasps are a critical part of the eco-system and nobody wants to harm them. This year there have been far more than is normal, which is why it is a challenge.”

An unusually dry spring has created a perfect breeding ground for wasps and the like to breed, reports claim. And Queen Camilla further revealed that bees she keeps at her private home in Wiltshire are problematic. She told Harry and Seline Silk of Knavesmire Nectar that her hives are swarming in an unusual manner.

The King and Queen made a joint appearance recently at an event to honor the ending of World War II.
