Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars is fast approaching. While we don’t know the identities of most of the cast members or the pro dancers, we do know that one longtime pro won’t be part of the season. It seems that Gleb Savchenko is out, and one of Taylor Swift’s back-up dancers, Jan Ravnik, is in!
Swifties have a lot to celebrate! First, Taylor’s man, Travis Kelce, popped the question in what can only be described as an enchanted garden. And her engagement ring is befitting a princess. And now one of Taylor’s fan-favorite dancers from The Eras Tour, Jan, is joining DWTS.

It was previously announced that Gleb would not be returning to the ballroom. After his tumultuous relationship and split with his Season 33 partner, Brooks Nader, Gleb blamed her for losing his job.
Now, Good Morning America has announced that Jan will be a new pro on DWTS. “Good morning, America! My name is Jan Ravnik,” the dancer said in a video clip posted via Instagram. “I travel all around the world with Eras Tour, and now I’m coming to the ballroom stage for DWTS. Mirrorball never goes out of style, and we are ready to win it!” he added.
The caption on the video reads, “New pro dancer @janravnik is ready to “shake it off” and compete on Season 34 of @dancingwiththestars!” Such a cute nod to Taylor. Meanwhile, Jan posted a thank you to Taylor via Instagram at the conclusion of the tour, writing, “Thank you @taylorswift for changing my life!!”
So far, we know that two members of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast, Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, are competing on DWTS Season 34. Influencer Alix Earle and conservationist Robert Irwin will also salsa into the ballroom.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 will premiere on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
