Todd Chrisley loves his children. According to his wife, Julie Chrisley, he would not be happy if his daughter, Savannah Chrisley, decided to run off and have a small wedding. In fact, she said he would likely be beside himself. He wants all the glitz and glam of a big wedding for his girl.
But that may not be something Savannah wants. She appears to be currently single after confirming her split with ex-boyfriend Robert Shiver last April. Before Robert, Savannah was with Nic Kerdiles, who tragically passed away in September 2023. So it may be a while before Savannah has marriage on the mind. Still, when the time comes, hopefully it’s a big wedding celebration.
Todd Chrisley would be “devastated” if Savannah didn’t have a huge wedding ceremony
Savannah and Julie talked about Todd and his wish for a big wedding for his daughter during a recent episode of Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.
Julie wouldn’t be shocked if Savannah just ran off and got married to someone. She even added that she suspected it would be to someone older and that Savannah would just come back and casually spill that she was married (at around the 25:59 mark).
“Would you be devastated if I did that?” Savannah asked while Julie replied, “Your dad would have a heart attack.”
As for her, Julie told Savannah, “If that’s what you really wanted to do, no, I wouldn’t be devastated. But your dad would. I would be devastated for him because he always wanted that beautiful wedding for his girls.”
So if Savannah ran off and got married, the pair said that Chloe would be Todd’s last shot at a big wedding. Chloe is Todd and Julie’s adopted daughter and the biological daughter of Todd’s son, Kyle Chrisley. The adoption came during Kyle’s personal struggles.
Savannah admitted that she would like a smaller wedding now that she’s older. And in the end, Julie just wants her to be happy and find a strong enough man who adores her. Perhaps Julie has mellowed a bit since her and Todd’s fraud and tax evasion conviction, time in prison, and subsequent release.
In the end, happiness is what matters most, and it looks like Julie can get on board with whatever Savannah wants, even if Todd may have a coronary.
The Chrisleys: Back to Reality premieres on Lifetime later this year. In the meantime, Chrisley Knows Best is streaming on Peacock.
