Carl Radke Hosts Soft Launch for Non-Alcoholic Bar

Brooklyn is about to get its newest “third space.” Carl Radke just announced that Soft Bar, his non-alcoholic bar, held its soft launch. They’re gearing up to open doors to the public in the very near future. He just gave a sneak peek into what customers can expect from the space and the long-awaited grand opening date that Summer House fans have been waiting to hear.

Carl Radke’s Soft Bar + Café is almost ready to open for the public

Soft Bar + Café will open to the public on September 17, but Carl just hosted a soft-launch party with all of his Summer House pals on Wednesday, August 27. We’ll go out on a limb here and say this will probably be a part of Season 10.

Ahead of the soft launch, Carl gave People a tour of the facility, giving Summer House fans a first look at the space we’ve been hearing about for years. Previously, he revealed that he sunk over $100,000 into making this place come to life. It looks like money well spent.

The place looks sleek and modern, with exposed brick and a marble bar top. According to Carl, Soft Bar’s aesthetic is all about “honoring the history” of the building. He told the outlet that visitors can expect to “recharge and connect” when they visit.

“Soft Bar is really about changing what going out can be,” Carl said. “We wanted to build a spot where the drinks are high-quality and intentionally crafted, the vibe feels good, and people can connect without alcohol. At the end of the day, it’s about bringing people together and celebrating great flavors.”

Carl teamed up with a sober nutritionist and non-alcoholic bar expert to develop the menu. He made it clear that he won’t be serving your run-of-the-mill mocktails. These drinks are fancy, functional, and free of booze.

In addition to the bar program, Soft Bar will serve a variety of coffees, including some made from mushrooms. They’ll have food and a “flex zone” with a private bar where customers can rent out for events.

Of course, we’ve all had our concerns about Soft Bar, but it’s clear Carl and his team put a lot of intention into making it a reality. If you’re in Brooklyn, stop by and grab a booze-free cocktail when they open their doors next month.

Summer House is streaming on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
