Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein has big plans for her relationship with Jody Glidden. Fresh off the heels of a nasty divorce, Lisa is already planting the seeds that she wants to be married again. In Season 7, Episode 14, Lisa laid it on thick that her finger felt empty without a ring on it. But Jody looked like he wanted to be anywhere else when she was having that conversation. However, according to Lisa, if Jody doesn’t put a ring on it, there’s “no future” for the two of them.
Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden may need therapy to survive
One would think Lisa would want to enjoy her relationship with Jody instead of jumping right back into marriage. She just got out of a messy divorce that spanned several seasons of turmoil for her on RHOM. But while Lisa is finally free, all she wants to be is locked down again.
In Season 7, Episode 14, she told Jody, “It feels weird that I’m not a Mrs. anymore.” Then added, “This finger feels really empty.” This left Jody stuttering and almost calling 9-1-1.
Jody was also feeling the stress from Lisa’s divorce. He said, “Being in any relationship is tough, but being in this relationship is really, really tough because the lawsuits never stop. The attacks never stop.”
Then Jody added the two might need therapy. He said, “As much as I love Lisa, it is hard to continue withstanding this unless we go see somebody.”
However, while Jody needs therapy to move forward, Lisa needs a ring. Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported Lisa’s thoughts while on The Real Housewives of Miami After Show. Lisa drew a line in the sand and stated, “If I don’t have a ring eventually, then there’s no future.”
This doesn’t mean she needs to get married right away though. Lisa shared, “I don’t even know if I want to get married. But I want to get engaged. I don’t want to be a girlfriend; I want to be a fiancée.”
Lisa then semi-joked, “Jody, I’m in therapy now. Where’s my ring?” I sense this will be a big storyline between the two of them for next season.
