Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino probably got a lot more than he bargained for when he posted on TikTok last week. Fans immediately took to the comments to question why his appearance has seemingly changed. Many speculated he’d had a face lift. The reality TV star responded to the rumors in a new video.

It started after the “Jersey Shore” star posted a video to promote a book signing. Well, the post certainly got a lot of attention. Many fans noted how different Mike looked.
One follower wrote: “I literally did not recognize this person.”
Another added: “This ain’t the situation ? this THE PROBLEM… ”
A third joked he was: “The Plastication.”
Mike clearly noted all of the confusion over his changed appearance. He uploaded a new video the following day to address the facelift rumors.
He denied getting surgery, saying: “I definitely got a ton of responses thinking I got a facelift or new eyeballs and cheeks from Zimbabwe, which again, I definitely didn’t do that.”
Instead, he claimed his drastic transformation is thanks to the “gym, tanning and laundry for nine straight weeks.”
Many followers remained sceptical, assuming he’d at least had Botox or a brow lift. However, Mike appeared to confirm he’d had his fillers removed by ‘liking’ a comment suggesting he had done so.
Mike has previously said he’s much healthier these days after giving up drugs and alcohol. He claims to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on his drug addiction. Which could explain how he ended up in hot water with the IRS.
The reality TV star has been working on a new TV show helping people battling addiction. He and his wife Lauren have also set up Archangel Centers, treatment facilities for those with addiction or mental health issues.
