Donald Trump’s security team left a bitter taste in the mouths of the royal chefs.
The U.S. President and his wife, Melania, visited King Charles and his wife, Camilla, this week. Paranoia appeared to be at an all-time high in Windsor Castle as a lavish meal was being prepared for the State Banquet.
Members of the Secret Service were apparently nosing around the kitchen, a little too much for the staff’s liking.
King Charles’ chefs found the Secret Service disruptive at Windsor Castle

It seems the Secret Service were poking their nose around where it didn’t belong. At least that’s how the royal kitchen staff felt.
While everything between the King and President appeared calm in front of the cameras, behind the scenes, tensions ran high among those employed by the two.
The Daily Mail reports that the King’s chefs took exception to the Secret Service seemingly monitoring their food preparation. A source claims that members of Donald’s security team actually tasted the food to ensure it was ok, while being very disruptive to the cooking staff.
“What began as quiet irritation escalated into a heated exchange, with raised voices on both sides,” a source said. Constant food sampling, and being in close proximity to the chefs while they were working, eventually set off the kitchen crew. “It took several minutes for tempers to cool and for the kitchen to return to its usual rhythm,” the source continued.
The tensions between the two weren’t noticeable to the King, President, or guests in the banquet hall, but apparently, it wasn’t easy to miss if you were in or around the kitchen. By all accounts, the dinner turned out fine, and the banquet was a massive success.
The President and First Lady spent two days in Windsor, hosted by the King and Queen, beginning on Tuesday, before returning to the United States on Thursday.
