Mariah Carey has no interest in sharing her co-parenting life with the public.
The singer had two children during her marriage to Nick Cannon which officially ended in 2016. Earlier this summer, Mariah released her 16th studio album entitled Here for It All.
Mariah has dealt with some difficult days in her personal life lately. Last year, her mother and sister died on the same day. Some of the music on her new album reflects her personal journey over the past decade. There were also elements drawn from her life as a mother.

In an interview with CBS Mornings this week, Mariah was asked a lot of candid questions about her personal life. While the multiple Grammy Award winner happily answered questions about her late mom and sister, she was very reserved when discussing the host of The Masked Singer.
Gayle King asked her about co-parenting life with him. “I kind of feel like it’s best if I don’t talk about him, because he can just be in his own world,” Mariah responded. “No offense to him.”
Several times before, she’s avoided getting candid about raising her kids alongside the TV host. While she’s acknowledged it’s rough for kids growing up with divorced parents, she’s tried to be as fair as possible about everything. She’s added that before that, she wouldn’t mind if her children became entertainers like their parents one day.
The two started dating when Mariah was working on the song Bye Bye, which they filmed together on an island near Antigua in 2008.
Mariah’s new album includes a cover of the song My Love by Paul McCartney and Wings.
