Armie Hammer was spotted out in the wild with an unknown woman last week. The pair had lunch and enjoyed a stroll through the farmer’s market. The actor has previously kept a pretty low profile since his “cancelation” from Hollywood.
Armie Hammer and the mystery woman were spotted leaving a sushi restaurant
Armie was spotted out and about with a mystery woman on Thursday. In video obtained by TMZ, the pair can be seen leaving a sushi restaurant in Westwood, LA. Armie’s female companion seemed to cover her face after noticing she was being filmed. It’s not known if the pair are romantically involved.
The actor has spent a few years out of the limelight following a series of sexual assault allegations. The scandal also revealed he may or may not have a cannibalism kink.
Speaking on Louis Theroux’s podcast earlier this year, he once again denied the allegations against him. He said: “I left a lot of people in that wake very angry at me for my behaviour … Asshole behaviour. There’s no way around that … Does it make me a dick? Absolutely. Like, I, I have no problem admitting that. I was a dick. That’s not illegal.”
Following the controversy (including alleged cheating), the actor split from wife Elizabeth Chambers. The pair have apparently made peace though. Elizabeth shared a family snap of them in her Instagram Stories earlier this year. She also said last year that she wouldn’t say anything negative about her ex on her TV series.
Armie worked a series of “normal” jobs following his expulsion from Hollywood. According to the Call Me By Your Name star, he sold timeshares in the Cayman Islands and worked as a school greenskeeper. It seems he’s now plotting his return to the big screen, though. He’s set to star in action thriller Citizen Vigilante and Western Frontier Crucible next year.
