The reality star, who got her start on Toddlers and Tiaras, was just involved in a serious car accident, according to her mother, “Mama” June Shannon. She said the whole thing was caused by a careless driver who wasn’t “paying attention.” Following the news, Mama June was on the first available flight to be by her daughter’s side.
Honey Boo Boo was involved in a terrifying car crash
Mama June took to her Instagram to share the news about Honey Boo Boo’s terrifying experience. Seated in the middle of an airport at a Delta terminal, the troubled reality star put her phone one inch from her face and started explaining the situation.
“We get a phone call around 3 o’clock and [Alana’s boyfriend] is pale white,” June shared. “Alana is screaming in the background.”
According to June, Alana was simply trying to leave her driveway when someone T-boned her. Apparently, people are constantly speeding down that road, which seemed to be the case this time. Thankfully, Alana walked away from the collision. June said she was just “banged up a little bit.”
Although Alanna walked away from this, the accident couldn’t have happened at a worse time. She’s currently in Denver, Colorado attending nursing school, and June said she was set to start clinicals the very next day. When the accident happened, Alana was heading to a hair appointment, likely trying to look fresh for her big day!
Despite the car crash, June said Alana was still going to try to make it to her first day of clinicals. Meanwhile, June was rushing to Denver to help her daughter get a rental car.
