Dylan Efron’s newest challenge is the Dancing with the Stars ballroom. After winning The Traitors, Dylan signed on for Season 34 of DWTS. Unlike his brother, actor Zac Efron, Dylan has zero performing experience. And during Season 34 Episode 3 of the show, we learned that Dylan is pals with Justin Bieber.
Dylan, who has no dance experience, is enthusiastic and takes the judges’ critiques to heart. “I’m having fun out there,” Dylan previously said of his DWTS experience. “This is what I love most in life is learning new things.” Now, Dylan is transforming into a leading man.

During TikTok Night, Dylan and his partner, Daniella Karagach, danced to Justin’s hit song, Yukon. The duo’s foxtrot was smooth and sexy. During rehearsals, Dylan shared a bit about Justin. “I love Justin,” Dylan said to the cameras. “What makes me respect Justin so much is, he makes people feel comfortable being vulnerable. And my experience on this show is like a vulnerable moment for me.” He added, “He’s not perfect, but he’s trying to be better every day.”
Meanwhile, Danielle is excited for Dylan’s first ballroom dance. “This is the perfect dance for Dylan to turn into the leading man that [judge] Derek [Hough] wants him to be,” she stated during rehearsals. I believe that ballroom may be Dylan’s secret weapon.
Derek called the performance “smooth as silk,” adding, “That was exceptional!” Meanwhile, Carrie Ann Inaba commended Dylan for “really learning” the technique. Of course, Dylan was thrilled by the positive comments from the trio of judges.
As for Dylan’s buddy, Justin? He recently shared some loved-up snaps of himself and his wife, Hailey Bieber, enjoying some pool time. The carousel of photos, posted on Instagram, also showed Justin tenderly holding his son, Jack.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It streams on Hulu the next day.
