Prince William & Kate Middleton’s New Home Has a Move in Date, Says Source

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning to move into their newly renovated Windsor home ahead of schedule. The sources confirm a date by Bonfire Night, November 5. The couple had originally planned to leave Adelaide Cottage by Christmas, but builders worked around the clock to finish renovations early.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are ready to move into their new home soon, according to a source

“It is hoped they will be in the new home in time for Bonfire Night,” a source told The Daily Mail. “That will make a fun start for the children.”

William and Kate, both 43, aim to provide a “fresh start” for their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

“The builders have been working flat out, week-in, week-out, so that the family could move in as soon as possible,” a source said. “Christmas was always the deadline, but it’s great that it’s going to happen much earlier.”

Princess Kate has actively participated in the renovations, sourcing furniture and furnishings from UK companies, including a visit to Marina Mill in Kent. She even tried her hand at textile printing.

“I think it’s been quite a fun process for her,” a source revealed. “She loves interior design and is a big champion of the British textiles industry. After all, this will be their forever home. They are ready as a family to move forward.”

Staff have already begun transferring the family’s belongings into the eight-bedroom Georgian mansion, which sits on a 150-acre estate protected by a Home Office-approved security cordon.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that William and Kate plan to remain at Forest Lodge even after they ascend to the throne, breaking recent tradition. The family will maintain privacy by having no live-in staff, with employees residing nearby on the Windsor Great Park estate.
