Charlie Sheen gets real about his sexual encounters with men
Charlie Sheen recently sat for an exclusive interview with The Times magazine. During the interview, he went candid about having sex with men. During their conversation, the interviewer mentioned that the actor’s new memoir, titled “The Book of Sheen”, and his new documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen” on Netflix, disclosed that he had sexual encounters with men. When the interviewer asked why the actor chose to reveal that aspect of his life now, he said that it was the correct time for the information to come out.
Charlie Sheen explained, “The director of the doc said, “I’ve done a deep-dive on your life and there are a ton of rumours about you and dudes.”” The actor continued, “I’m like, “Fine, let’s talk about it.”” He then added, “It seemed like the right time.” At present, the “Platoon” actor does not feel the need to keep the fact about sleeping with men hidden.
Charlie Sheen went on to express, “I’ve experienced what it’s like to keep that stuff hidden.” The actor continued, “And always worry about the next phone call, the next knock on the door.” He further explained, “But I didn’t have any experience with, “What if it was out there?”” He continued, “It gave me something else in common with Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando.” The actor then threw in the question, “That’s pretty good company, right?”
The actor’s two-part documentary film, “aka Charlie Sheen,” made its debut on September 10. Fans can watch the documentary on Netflix.
