Actress Denise Richards has set the record straight on her current relationship with Charlie Sheen after appearing in his 2025 documentary.
While acknowledging that she would always care for the father of her children, she confirmed that romance is not in the cards.

Richards appeared on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast to address rumors about her lingering romantic feelings for Charlie Sheen. The actress firmly denied the possibility even though she had appeared in the latter’s documentary.
“I love him. I always have love for him,” Richards said. “Being their dad… yes, of course.” She quickly clarified, however, that those feelings are no longer romantic. “But as far as romantic love, no. Not at all.”
Although Denise Richards says she will “always have love” for Charlie Sheen as the father of their children, she has ruled out any romantic reunion, stressing that the former couple are “not best friends” despite remaining on cordial terms.
Richards also addressed the rumors stemming from her appearance in a documentary by Sheen. “I did a documentary… I love him as my kids’ dad,” she explained. However, she was quick to declare that she cared for Sheen as a co-parent and not in the way of rekindling her marriage.
The former have continued to co-parent their daughters. As a result, she is navigating a present where she maintains an amicable relationship with her ex-husband. Richards also said that there are emotions connected due to the times they traversed together. She also reflects on many instances of dealing with things which Sheen “didn’t even know”.
Richards rose to fame with films such as Starship Troopers, Wild Things and the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. She later became a reality television personality through The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and now stars in Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen were married from 2002 to 2006 and share two daughters, Sami and Lola.
