Now that Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick have their baby girl, they’re discovering the joys of traveling with an infant.
As they jetted off for a family vacation, Kristen snapped photos of little Kaia Lily’s sleeping the flight away. Also along for the trip were Kristen’s sister and brother-in-law to help care for the 4-month-old baby.

In addition, Kristen shared pics of little Kaia dipping her toes into the pool in Puerto Vallarta, wearing a strawberry-print onesie and a sun hat. “Sometimes, I still can’t believe I have a whole baby that is beautiful, funny, smart, and brave,” she captioned the post.
Luke and Kristen’s little girl arrived June 11, 2025, finally fulfilling Kristen’s dream of being a mom. Their fertility struggle was well documented during Season 2 of The Valley. Her birth was a joyful occasion for the engaged couple, as well as their supportive friends.
Shortly after her birth, Kristen shared with Us Weekly that she and Luke were so “completely overwhelmed with love and [gratitude].” Wanting to choose a meaningful name for their daughter, the couple put a lot of thought into her moniker, settling on “Kaia,” meaning “sea” in Hawaiian.
Should it be in “the cards,” Kristen also confessed that they would “love to have a second baby.”
“We’d love to have [another] baby, if that’s possible for us,” Kristen shared. “I’m sure we’ll need help again with our fertility doctor. I hope that we’re lucky, but I know what to expect a little bit more next time around.”
