Kandi Burruss is no stranger to people calling her out. In fact, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum knows all about people responding badly to something she’s said or done, and she has never backed down for anyone. She’s certainly not about to start now. She’s more than willing to meet up with Soulja Boy after the rapper threatens a lawsuit.
Soulja Boy called out Kandi Burruss, and the RHOA alum responded
In case you missed it, rapper Soulja Boy recently lost it on social media. He went full-on rant against Kandi for a guest she previously had on her podcast, Speak on It. This isn’t new. Kandi has faced backlash for her podcast guests.
This particular guest was former videographer Charlie Rocket, who worked for Soulja Boy in 2007. On the podcast, Charlie shared his experiences working with the rapper. He said he was grateful for the opportunity and for the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Charlie then talked about a time when he was in Las Vegas working and hadn’t eaten in three days and not getting his per diem. He said Soulja Boy called him to his room to discuss making a viral video. He shared that the rapper ordered $1,000 worth of room service, and when Charlie asked if he could have some because he was hungry, he alleged that Soulja Boy promptly spat in the food.
Of course, this did not sit well with Soulja Boy, who responded on Instagram Live with a whole tirade against Charlie and Kandi. After cussing out Charlie, he said, “Somebody tag this b*tch Kandi too. I’m about to sue the f*ck out Kandi.”
He proceeded to try to debunk the story. He called Kandi a baldhead b*tch and asked her for her address since he was in Atlanta. “Let me pull up, tell my side of the story.”
For her part, Kandi was unbothered. It’s not the first time a man has “bucked up” on her, and she’s not backing down. Instead, she took to X and called him out right back.
“I heard @souljaboy was cussing me out on his live and said he wanted to pull up. Well, I would love for you to pull up. Let’s speak on it!” The added nod to her podcast is chef’s kiss. Only Kandi would find a way to slip in some marketing when responding to a rant online.
