She was almost a Housewife! As we inch closer to casting news around Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Shanna Moakler has admitted that she was up for a role on the show but didn’t make the cut. Now, we’re over here holding out hope that she might pop up in Season 2.
Shanna Moakler says she didn’t get on the RHORI cast
The actress, model, and ex-wife of Travis Barker appeared on the October 17 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. He’s gearing up for a return to Bravo, and Shanna revealed that she almost became a part of the Bravo family, too.
“I was just up for the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but I didn’t get it,” Shanna revealed.
Shanna was born and raised in Rhode Island, so this idea wasn’t out of left field. Jeff Lewis and the rest of the Chumps groaned when she shared the news that she didn’t get picked. However, the former Miss USA did share a little tidbit that could leave the door open for a future appearance.
“I was going to buy my parents’ house back,” she said of her current connection to the state. “I’m actually in talks right now on buying it back, so cross fingers for me.”
We might be looking too far ahead, but Shanna buying back her parents’ house in Rhode Island sounds like the perfect way to introduce her in Season 2. We’ll cross fingers that Andy Cohen and the rest of the producers keep her information on file.
Now that we know who didn’t make the cut, we’re even more eager for a RHORI cast announcement. There’s been plenty of speculation, but details are scarce about Bravo’s latest edition of Housewives. Still, have a feeling the Ocean State is about to make a big splash.
